Your Best Child Ever:
Is This Game Worth Winning

Book Resources

Thank you for checking out Your Best Child Ever: Is This Game Worth Winning? YOU freakin' ROCK!

Seriously - going the extra step to check out a book's recommended resources? THAT is the sign of a parent who's looking to make a real, lasting change in your family's trajectory in life, love, and careers/business.

You have my respect. I wrote this back in 2012, so it's been a hot second or two. Moved the resources a few times, put them behind a sign up form to capture email... and these days, it often seems like there's just so many barriers to success and I don't want there to be something getting in the way of families getting real, helpful resources.

So, down below, are videos and worksheets to help support you.
I've also got links to a few things I'm doing to help parents and, specifically, dads as well as playlists to support mental, emotional growth.

I also have a few courses available to help you with getting your kids to listen and more. There IS a fee for those programs as I have to pay for hosting, advertising, outreach and such but because you're on this page, you'll be getting a discount.

And, finally, I'm here to serve. If you have questions, concerns about Your Best Child Ever: Is This Game Worth Winning, feel free to use the form at the bottom of the page to ask questions. I (or a team member) will get you an answer, or point you in a direction. Cool? Cool.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Roadruck

Falling Safely videos (from my Bio) and Link to the online course

Developed after my mom fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) - I was sitting in the ER wondering why she didn't know how to fall. And I realized it's because I never showed her, so rather than sit there uselessly waiting to find out how she was doing, I created a short falling-safely course and have taught it to students ages 3 to 94.

News report after my mom fell at 64, not knowing WHO she might be IF she wakes up

News report a few months later, with mom well on her way to recovery. She'll never drive a car again, but she's active and healthy.

Self-Control is when my mind controls my body and my emotions.

Focus is where I put my attention, and involves focusing my mind, focusing my eyes, focusing my ears, and focusing my body.

Respect is when I show that I care, doing things and treating things with positive energy.

Self-Discipline is when I do what I am supposed to do, no matter if I like it or not.

Self-Confidence is when I have the strength to believe in myself, and my hopes, dreams, goals, and abilities.

Jeremy Roadruck as a Podcast Guest

This is where to find the podcast episodes I've been on as a guest talking about parenting, relationships, mindset, attitude, BS (belief systems), life, love, communication, personal safety, trauma, meaning, ontology, epistemology, and more!

These clips are a kind of crash-course in personal development, personal growth, and are a fantastic jumping-off point when talking with teens about the complexities of life.

No fault, no blame, no guilt, no shame. Just ownership, warmth, understanding and a bit of playfulness.
